dr. Boncz Ágota
Internist-diabetologist
occupational health specialist
I obtained a general medical degree in Debrecen in 1987.
My career started in Győr at the anaesthesia and intensive care unit, and then continued at the Department of Internal Medicine
In 1995 I made my qualifying exam from internal medicine. I spent some years in the pharmaceutical industry, and then worked in Kardirex Medical Center.
2007 was the year of learning: In January I made a qualifying exam from occupational health, in December I qualified for diabetes.
Since 2004, I deal with weight reduction of overweight patients with a complex program that I developed. In this, a dietitian and a physiotherapist are helping me who are experts in nutrition and exercise. Good atmosphere and co-learning paradigm provides a long-term effectiveness.
Seeing and experiencing the anomalies of public healthcare, I decided to continue my work as a private doctor. Here I have the option of what both the patient and I need: adequate time for testing, treatment, discuss the issues raised. I believe, if someone knows, what and why should he/she do, then it will be easier to accept this, which makes the curing more efficient. The examination is by appointment, this way we can avoid unnecessary waiting.
I consult in Győr and in Mosonmagyaróvár, and two times a week I enhance the team of a private clinic called Medicover in Budapest.
Within health education I hold presentations and answer questions for teenagers for years.
I speak English. My hobby is every kind of exercise, and I love reading.
